I read 1/2 way through. I'm American and I feel the same way...that described me. Why, you ask? Because illegal, is still illegal no matter which way you look at it. My father and my grandparents immigrated from another country...legally. They didn't expect America to take care of them either. They worked hard; built a business and trust...the legal way. Why would anyone think someone should get a better dealer because they decided it was okay to break the laws even before entering a new country?! Why would you trust them to do anything else honestly (even when they are) if they start out in an untrusting, illegal way? Yes, they have it right; all immigrants should come into the country the legal way only; the laws here apply to them too.

No, Laws are there for a reason and there are many reasons for immigration laws,,one is National security, knowing who is coming and going another is tax payer considerations that is working Americans paying for those who are here illegally another in the increased crime that illegals bring.

How do conservatives have it? I know people who call themselves "conservatives" on both sides of that issue?
All illegal immigrants disappear overnight. Who is really happy and who just pays "lip service" to the problem and is secretly ticked?
