It is not Jews, as such, that are hated. There is something in the human mind that causes groups of people to reject the "other". Ever since the Diaspora, Jews have been that "other", especially in Europe. Anyone that acts, dresses, eats, worships, etc. differently from the majority in any society is going to be subject to this phenomenon. +4

- The answer to question two, would be exaggeration and a lack of grasp of reality.
  1 1/2m Iraqis murdered in the embargo? The one where Saddam was allowed to sell oil to buy food and medicine? But instead built palaces and researched WMDs.
  Israel is a colonialist power? Really? They must have the smallest colonial empire in the world.
  The Arabs have tried to do anything at the UN that would help the Palestinians? Or would those measures simply be attacks on Israel? If the Arabs really wanted to help their compatriots, wouldn't taking them in and accepting them a citizen, be more helpful than a UN resolution?
  The Arabs need weapons to defend themselves from the Israelis? So that the Israelis don't follow through on their threat to drive the Arabs into the sea. Or do they just need more rockets to target civilians?
  Thousands of secret detention centers? Really?
  
  Exaggeration, a poor grasp of reality, and an exaggerated sense of victim-hood aren't the best way to make friends.

That can be answered from two angles. Jews keep themselves separate from other societies, and so find it difficult to be seen as the equal of others. But spiritually, the Jews are God's Chosen People, and secular nations, controlled by ungodly spirits, have a natural aversion to them.

Besides, jealousy naturally shows up whenever anyone says that they are 'more special' than you. Perhaps America does not generally reject the Jew because we are ourselves chosen, special, and consist of many different peoples and cultures.

- Every Jew has to be hated because one Jew betrayed his Jew buddy? How would you hate Judas for what he did and what he is, but love Jesus for only what he did? Jesus=Jewish and Judas=Jewish.
