    You can only gain confidence by doing. Do something long enough and you become proficient. When you're proficient you are confident. It's like driving a car. Remember how nervous you were during the first year?. Ten years down the road and you feel like you've done this all your life. It becomes second nature. Like putting your pants on in the morning.

    Don't bother. Confidence is overrated. Just try to approach the world with a kind of apathetic exuberance. Shows self-confidence for the scam it really is.
