I am so, so sorry to read this....with the exception of the IRS part...what you describe is happening to many folks these days....
Obviously, it's not going to be easy....you may fair better if you can manage to save up at least three months worth of rent payments and provide them or offer to provide them....
Of course the longer you have been at your current job SHOULD HELP some...or if you work in an industry that is NORMALLY stable for employment, and the company you work for is stable..and not laying anyone off.

My broken lease is not reported on my credit report. could it still be listed on saferent or credit retriever? Do all apts now use these point system credit check programs?

You're reading IRS has seizd our bank acct, we are about to loose our home, we have filed bankruptcy; all of these in the past year. Our credit is the worst of worst - will it be possible to find a lease home, does anyone have any suggestions, Feeling Really Helpless
