IRS has seizd our bank acct, we are about to loose our home, we have filed bankruptcy; all of these in the past year. Our credit is the worst of worst - will it be possible to find a lease home, does anyone have any suggestions, Feeling Really Helpless

You need to contact the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Services immediately! The bank probably still has your money and the TAS can intercede on your behalf getting your money released!
As for the rest of this...I'm sorry! Too many people are in the same boat!

Are you both working and is the IRS garnishing your wages?

I wish I could help, but I'm just an old, retired military man. One piece of advice: you CAN recover from almost anything, so long as you don't lose your health. Please keep yourself in good physical condition so that does not prevent you from a rebound from this setback. You will be in my prayers.

I am so, so sorry to read this....with the exception of the IRS part...what you describe is happening to many folks these days....

Obviously, it's not going to be easy....you may fair better if you can manage to save up at least three months worth of rent payments and provide them or offer to provide them....

Of course the longer you have been at your current job SHOULD HELP some...or if you work in an industry that is NORMALLY stable for employment, and the company you work for is stable..and not laying anyone off.

    Good luck.
