Yes,near where I lived as a youth was a lake called "Clear Lake".Near the dock the water was about 4-5 feet deep,and I can remember once a newspaper was sunk to the bottom.The water was so clear that I could read the headlines sitting on the pier.

Yes me and my boyfriend escapped to a 'secert' place he so calls it he says no one ever found this place cherry blossom trees and a huge sparkling pound I skinny dipped in it! And it was shocklily warm!
