    There is just so much to see in this beautiful city.
    I'd have to go around the Dam Square of course.

    Naturally I'd end my days with a healthy dousing of Heineken, a fat spliff and then go galavanting off to the Red Light District and punctuate my day the way all tourists like me would.

    Actually (one of) the best things to do in Amsterdam is take a boat ride through the canals, it is very entertaining and you see lots of the city. The tour goes by The Ann Frank house. Smoking a joint beforehand makes it all the more enjoyable.

    I liked the Van Gogh museum best. Of course, the coffee shops and the "legality" of marijuana is an incredible novelty, too. Just walking around is great. One place many people miss but is great is the Museum of Ships. Amazing place. The Dutch have been going to sea for 500 years, and you can learn all about it there. There's a cool way to see the city, a nonprofit organization of longboat pilots who take visitors on a guided trip of the canals.
