• U2, my daughter had a boyfriend like that for about a year. He did the same exact thing plus threatened to commit suicide if she left him, then verbally abused her while they were together. Cut himself all the time and blamed her. Claimed she was cheating on him. Tried to isolate her from her friends and from me...saying that everything I did was because I hated her. (She knows better now) He was bad news. A manipulator, a user, and an abuser. Please get away from him as fast as possible and stay away! My daughter was a wreck when she was with him, and kept staying with hm because she wanted to "help" him through his issues. But he was pulling her down with him. She started not eating, lost weight, looked like death warmed over. She started cutting. And she wanted to commit suicide. Now, after being apart from him, and having found a really wonderful boyfriend who treats her like she deserves to be treated, she is a happy and healthy young woman. DON'T GO BACK! Find someone wonderful.
