I want to delete a whole load of songs from my i pod, about half of 1700, is there a better and faster way than doing them all individually?

    connect it to the computer, select the whole files, say to the computer to delete. Computer will do it.
    thats all.

    I once did that with more than 7000 songs. Be a man and do them individually! lol

    If you delete them from your iTunes library, then the next time you sync your iPod all of the songs won't get synced on. To clear all of them you can reset your iPod, but I'm not sure if you need to register it again afterwards or not.
