i thought it was great.

- Certainly the special effects were outstanding, but the old 'regular guy becomes a hero saving his estranged family' plot has become a bit hackneyed.

- well yeah, but it still accomplished what it set out to do & was a well put together movie.
  you can say that about nearly every movie in theaters now, that the plot has been done.
