The cross did not become a Christian symbol until the 3rd or 4th century. Before that a fish was used. Would you hang a model of an electric chair around your neck? Pretty sick stuff to the Romans. +4
No, it wore Him.
Nope.
No, the cross became the symbol of christianity because Jesus died on a cross; not because he wore 1.
It wasn't a symbol until He died on it.
If pregnancy outside of a marriage is a sin, then wouldn't that mean Mary sinned when she was pregnant with Jesus?

What if Jesus came back and we were to nail him to a cross again? Would he say, "Okay, I've had enough."?

"Would you hang a model of an electric chair around your neck?"
No, I don't like weapons.

That's what the cross was to the Romans. A means of executing criminals. The fish symbol is really more appropriate to Christianity anyway. It was the occupation of many of the early apostles and Yeshua's remark about "fishers of men".

Great answer W.Klingon. I agree. Although the Cross should always play a part in Christianity so we remember the brutality and pain of how much He suffered on our behalf.

If you believe in such. I don't, but respect the beliefs of all faiths of good will.

Yes so let all the Jews hang a miniature concentration camp with some swasticas above their doors so that they remember how much their brothers and sisters suffered for Israel! Great logic, eagle!

So I should hang an AK shell casing around my neck to show off that I suffered for my country?
by Stranger in a Strange Land on November 21st, 2009
No no, the whole AK! Not just one nail of the cross.
by StupidGirl on November 21st, 2009
Too heavy, and a rather poor weapon at that.

Dear Ms. Stupid. If you feel that Jews deserve a symbol other than the star of David you should fulfill your need for that. But if it's simply the Christian symbol of the Crucifix that angers you, then you'll have to do much more than complain about it on the internet or question my logic to make a change. Oh, and by the way, happy holidays.
