Why do liberals hate Sarah palin?

Because she is smart, capable, and has achieved all of the success that they claim to want for women but she sees things from a Republican standpoint. Basically, just because she is a Republican.

The thing about this country is we have become so divided that we (as a nation) hate anyone that is on the opposing side of political issues. The ironic thing is that most people are ignorant on these issues and they just hate because they have been conditioned to do so.

It's sad, really. As a country, we are never going to get anything done unless both party affiliates become intent on finding common ground. That is how our forefathers did it and that's how they created the greatest country in the world. We aren't like that anymore but we could be.

Palin is a woman of power that personifies the Republican morals and values and Democrats hate her for it.... so do some other Republicans.

I don't hate her because she's Republican, I hate her because she's retarded. If you think she's "smart" and "capable", you need to read a dictionary or go to school.

I see some people have seen fit to mark their disagreement with my opinion by taking points away. That is just low. This is an opinion place and when I am asked, I should be able to answer without thinking I'd just be docked points because someone happens to disagree. Whatever happened to freedom of speech?
When ever you knock someone because you disagree with their opinion, you are guilty of oppression. That is not a democratic way to look at things.
It bothers me so much that some people stoop so low. When I dock points, it's because the person is just not taking a question seriously. If someone's opinion is asked, I don't ever dock them points because I disagree with them. No matter what, I respect other people's opinion and their right to express that opinion without retribution.
This is typical when speaking about republican standpoints. It never fails that liberals take points away because my opinion just isn't the "right" one. What kind of message are you sending? Do you support freedom so long as it fits within your set guide lines? It just never fails. Liberals are fine with open-mindedness if it is something they agree with. If not, then they want to shut you up. They don't want a diverse crowd like they claim. They want everyone to think like them. If you don't, then you are wrong. So sad.
