    I Am Gone

Puberty is interesting. Everything can happen at that stage. It should be seen as normal.

HORMONES. Until I was 10, I was a sweet little angel, my parents thought I was the sweetest boy ever. Here's a timeline:

10- First said anything mean to another kid. Started gossip, first time I raised my voice to an adult.
11- Started liking girls, made out with one (stupid thing to do), began acting out, pushing some things off, arranged social things.
12- I basically ran around in a semi-testosterone fueled craze which everyone thought was funny. Had first fights with parents. Thought I was the stuff. Grades began to drop. Bullying began.
13- Grades plummeted, wearing less colorful clothes, frequently having an attitude, like talking back and being generally disrespectful to my parents. Took a break from the flamboyance and dating, waited till high school. Was very depressed in eighth grade, hated the world and my parents. Even though my life was great except for grades, I thought that my friends showed no respect for me, so I isolated myself somewhat. Everything sucked but the summers, when I was never ever happier. I was bullied brutally at school, and that fueled my depression, along with my twin having his growth spurt before me and for the first time, being better than me at most things.
14- Began reconstructing myself, more independent than ever, didnt like help, made many more friends, began dating again, had best summer of my life, had a growth spurt so I could
intimidate kids who were mean to me. Generally more confident, grades still iffy, I have more time with my parents. I am happy now. Yes I have a big attitude and im lazy and procrastinate horribly, I don't worry or annoy my parents as much anymore. My brother is a nightmare though. Bullying is only occasional now.
I dont know what other kids go through, but I think I got lucky, even though I felt like I had it the worst during middle school.

7th, 8th and 9th are the worst for attitude.
