Should you speak with your partner about every aspect of spending? Should you speak with them about a budget for surprises or little extras for each other? Should you speak with them about things you need for yourself i.e.. fit class, personal organizers?

• I used to spend allot then I learned to ask myself do I really need this or do I want this. I would spend money when I felt down and it would make me feel better. I used to spend money with out thinking of my partner cuse when i would talk to him he would always yell at me. Maybe she feels unable to communicate with you or there is a deeper issue that is being bandaged by spending. Maybe try to speak to her calmly about and work with her to resolve her issues. She might not think things through before she spends. Maybe sit down with her and go through a break down of monthly expenses and help her see what is expectable spending and what is not. Set a goal with limits. And try and be flexible it takes time to break bad habits.
