Help answer this question below.
why are you so insecure as to have it bother you so much when another guy stands next to you?
is your masculinity so weak or is your ego so big that you need at least 5 feet between you & another male?
what are you afraid of? that they'll take one look at your apparently enormous penis & promptly molest you, regardless of their orientation because all men must be gay for you?
get over it. seriously. you're behaving like a crazy macho man with no common sense.
Sorry but if I feel the need to take a leak then I take a leak... I don't get out a bloody tape measure first to make sure I have 5 foot all around me before I go
Yeah I dunno KoolKool.

1) Urinal laws are written with urine in snow. It melts after a time.
Why should only girl want to go there accompanied?
Most seriously: some guys are against rules of any kind. Others are gay. And still others don't care.
2) Actually, those rules have been written:
"Apparently women’s public toilets are quite nice places where people have a general chitty-chat. But men’s public toilets are places of fear and suspicion. If somebody speaks in a male toilet, it is practically the start of World War III. I suppose this is because the chances of being buggered are much lower in a women’s toilet.
The rules are fairly simple:
1. No eye contact
2. Don’t use a urinal if it’s next to a urinal that somebody else is using unless it is strictly necessary to do so
3. Never, under any circumstances, speak — not even to a good friend
They are kind of unspoken rules. You don’t even consciously follow the rules. You only become aware of the rules when somebody breaks them. This happens a lot in pubs. Picture it. I’m standing there taking a leak, and some drunkard comes in making some small talk about the weather or something as though we were in the queue at Tesco rather than holding our penises.
The thing to do here is to finish your piss as quickly as possible, and do everything in your power to end the conversation quickly. There’s no time to wash your hands. Just go. As quickly as possible. Inform your friends of the man who started a conversation in the toilets. Everybody agrees that it’s just not on."

Cuss its not cool.
unless your looking for a nice cock to suck
i dont think it matters everyone has a right 2 any urinal they choose, thats why they are there if you werent supposed 2 pee next 2 someone there would be an empty space there insted of a urinal, they are there for peeing so let him pee where he wants.
Maybe they just don't care because taking a piss and getting out of there as fast as possible is just more important to them at the time.
Some guys don't put that much thought into it. They see an open urinal and go for it.
What does see you next Tuesday mean?

You're reading Why the hell do some guys not respect the unwritten law of the urinals? You should stand as far away from any other guy as possible... not stand next to one.
Comments
It doesn't bother me if there is no space, but if there is an option it is just natural to choose to stand further away. Occasionally some people ignore this. Are you honestly saying you wouldn't think it odd that when there is plenty of space, a guy would stand right next to you? I didn't say there was anything sexual about it either... it's just strange and uncomfortable.
It has nothing to do with masculinity or ego, it's a question of etiquette.
I would like to ask something else though: why are you attempting to insult me instead of just answering the question? I mean, why bother? Do you need to try and make yourself think you're better than someone or what?
