Yes, I do. I think that too many corporations do not appreciate their workers. At the same time, productivity in America remains high.
The workers are there for the company. I only wish most of the companies were there for the workers. It is a lot more stressful to worry about being laid off.

The result is; a tremendous task to perform--coupled with a sense of overwhelming insecurity about the future..
Yes.
Also becoming more isolating, as more people are stuck in cubicles or telework from home. There is more pressure to document everything, due to constant fear of lawsuits. And with downsizing, people who are left after the layoffs get bigger workloads.
It's changing, and maybe not for the better.
