When you are at a Mexican restaurant do you sneak spanish words in when you order? (ie. queso dip or aqua instead of cheese dip and water)

    If the server speaks Spanish yes, would be pointless if the server didn't understand.

    "Dip" is not Spanish. "Agua" is the word for "water" in Spanish.

    Since I can speak Spanish, yes, sometimes I do.

    I don't go to Mexican restaurants but I go to a lot of Spanish ones, and I do all the ordering in Spanish.
