I got caught stealing for the first time and it was at wal mart 200.00 worth this is my first time will i go to jail for it?

You should. However I don't think you will. As long as you do not have a history of criminal activity. As it has to be $500 to be a federal offense.

It's possible. But, being it's your first time and hopefully your last, you could get at least 90 days.
