Help answer this question below.
Emperor =/= President.
Matthewisdom = idiot.
A man who can decide his behavior based on his own value of himself stands far above petty negative and stupid opinions made for no other reason than to down someone.
It's probably a sign of respect to countries where a bow is...a sign of respect.
Now, I know Americans traditionally don't bow, but I'm pretty sure Obama wasn't the first to do it either.
It's politeness. The Emperor is not a President. The phrasing should be "consistent with", not "consistent of". The term is "Commander in Chief", not "Commander and Chief". What's un-American is questioning someone's character for political reasons.
I really don't know what thicker .. you or a lump of 4x2 wood!
Yeah, boy! He keeps stirring things up. I bet the democrats won't hold power for more than 50 years because of him!
Embarrassment.
A simple one word answer - ABSOLUTELY. One just has to review the past 9 months and view his NON accomplishments and how he seems to be bowing to the Middle East leaders, etc.
Just respecting cultural norms. Would you expect him to kiss the Queen of England?
No.
Please watch "The Fall of the Republic" on youtube! Obama is a definate puppet in New World Order agenda!

You're reading Is Obama bowing to the Presidents of foreign nations, like the Emperor of Japan, consistent of a un-American frat boy being Commander and Chief?

It's called protocol and diplomacy.
You don't just go up and high-five the queen of England, and you don't greet and Emperor without showing due respect. The fact that we are a democracy with an elected president does not preclude us from showing due respect to leaders of nations with different governmental systems and structures.
If being non-un-American means showing disrespect to every nation other than our own, then I am by all means un-American.
