Yeah, secondary school... Looking back, I was much happier after I left that crowd!
-
In crowd a Mama & Papa's allusion to an illusion..Otherwise that would be another name for those in the know..Term is silly to me.
-
Yeah, I was...but it started driving me nutzy around 8th grade...all the girls would talk about the other girls behind their backs...so theirfor I knew they were talking about me too... So I split off from them...did my own thing, and left that in the past. Then I would look at them and know they were all backstabbers...but I was no longer part of it. End of all that.
-
actually Rosie, never cared...just being who i'm! +5
-
No, but I'm IN with the OUT crowd. ((hugs)) +5
-
No, I always had one close group of friends and we could care less about the "IN" crowd. All we needed was each other.=)
-
Yes, and yes.
-
no and not really
-
I was never part of the IN crowd as they seem to be made up of shallow and two dimensional people. I've always done my own thing. Back in my college days they were not liked by most people.
-
No I dont know what the IN crowd is, Ive never allowed anybody to control my thoughts including my parents which irritates them to this day
-
Been with the in crowd since i was about 12 years old !! they just kind'a grew on me ? and i still go every where with them ,,,,,hard not to really ?? hehe
-
I guess im "IN" with the kids at my school that arnt "IN" but i dont want to be "IN" to much drama, not enough fun :D
-
I was always in the middle of the road crowd. I was friends with everyone. The "In" crowd was not always very welcoming or friendly, so I let them enjoy themselves without me!
-
Not now, not ever. I'm a middle of the road person. I get along with most everyone but I'm not one of the "popular people". I'm content with my friends. :-) +5 Rosie.
-
Nope. I'm the perennial outsider.
-
Nah. I never wanted to be either, they always seemed pretty stupid. There was also the fact that all of the people in the "in" crowd hated each other eventually anyway. I got along fine with them, but I was never really their "friend". I purposely avoided hanging about with them unless I was with my friends as well or I was in class with them.
-
no, I gravitated to the eclectic and eccentric crowd which normally weren't "IN". The conventions of the typical Westernized "IN" crowd never really attracted or appealed to me.
-
Just a little once or twice. No longer though. +5
-
I was at a boy's school where there was only one crowd (thankfully!)
-
I have never been part of the "IN" crowd.
-
once!
-
No and no.
-
Why, yes! Then I found out that the 'outside' crowd was more popular. Sigh.
-
Not really. I've always been very shy and comfy in random groups of people but never the "in" crowd though I have been friendly with some of them.
-
never, and it used to bother me. Now I embrace my weirdness and quirkiness.
-
Never have been, never will be.
-
No, nor do I want to be. They are usually high maintenance stuck up girls in that "clique"
-
I dont think I'd recognize them if they still exist after high school O.O
-
And you too RGHM. I've only seen the Jetpack in action in "Lost in Space" and the Bond movie "Thunderball" but it seemed like a novel way to dice with death. I too am not very good with heights, except when I went up Glastonbury Tor. I must have been in someone's (or many) hands that day.
-
Not really, but I am perfectly happy with where I am, and what group i am in.
-
I'm my own "IN" crowd.
-
nope, not at all...
-
I don't believe in "clicks" and would NEVER belong to one!
