Help answer this question below.
I get in a lot of discussions and debates about race/racism. It comes with the territory.
I was called a Natzi on AB (not a Nazi) because I was going toe to toe against some moron slamming whites and because of my expert categories.
Not only was the spelling funny but, considering that my people were almost obliterated by the NaZIs, that was silly.
I was called racist because I joke about my OWN ethnicity.
I have been called racist because "all minorities are racist." That is as stupid and inaccurate as "all whites are racist."
Every now and then I am called a racist for standing up against white racists slamming non whites. Conversely I told that I am sucking up to white people/"trying to be white" when I stand up against non white racists slamming whites.
I just do not like bigotry/racism and I do not care who it is from or who it is towards.
Any time I speak out against Obama, it always turns to race.
SABOTUER called me one on site once. He was just doing his mess with people thing though.
I think that people who are NOT racist tend to take race a little more lightly, and then people who ARE racist are easily offended for the wrong reasons.
Sure. It is a well established ad hominem attack and a pretty effective one at that these days. It makes most people shut up, which allows just about any idiot to win an argument that they should not be allowed to win. Most people do not have the balls to stand up to it. I've been called that, but not too often. Most people know it does not fit, plus I do not put up with it, and people get that idea too. It is not a new technique. In the fifties, calling people a communist was usually enough to get them to shut up.
The white supremacists among the AB set label me that routinely when I debate them about the merits of keeping Affirmative Action in place till the playing field is level in the USA. It's calssic projection. I recognize it for what it is, so it doesn't have any affect on my feelings about myself.
If anyone ever shows me that I am being racially unfair, it would prompt me to examine myself and change, I'd feel grateful for being shown my error.
Not being racist, but I have been told many times that I AM racist... And you know, each time it has been when a black man has asked me out on a date, or asked me for my number, and I turned him down. Nonsense.
Racist; def. Someone who is winning an argument with a liberal.
No.
I was once told I was ugly, though.
Does that count?
Of course. Since I'm Caucasian, the news media always paints me as a racist.
yup,but to be fair i am racist but it is to many races
No, because I don't even go there.
Once I called my best friend a kyke because I thought it was going to be funny after he messed up doing something. He is Jewish, and was stunned. One of my friends pointed out that the word kyke is a racial slur towards jews. I had no idea, and apologized. I looked like a moron. It's a good thing we are best friends. I don't even know where I heard the word to begin with. I guess that'll teach me to use words I don't understand.
That event still haunts me as one of the dumbest things I've ever done.
No I have never been told I am a racist. I have never and would never say anything to anyone that would label me as such.
How is it like having to deal with racism? I have never dealt with it but grew up in a racist family,
I want to change my thoughts

What is worse...a blatant racist/bigot or one who has no idea what a racist/bigot he/she is? Does being clueless make it less awful?
