probably, 20 years ago...landed at Hobby International...think that is right in Houston, Tx. and took a cab to the other side of town to pick up a rental car. Was working one the hurricane that hit the Tx coast! +5
A couple of years ago. The cost of a taxi is 3.00 now as soon as you get in. It's 40 cent for every fifth of a mile after that, plus a night surcharge if it's night.
In August in Washington DC. You do NOT want to drive in that city if you can avoid it!!
The night before yesterday. I took a cab from the railway station to my apartment (approx. 15 USD).
About five years ago when on vacation.
Many years ago when I was in D.C. I usually use cheaper transport from airport to hotel, etc. but this was a group going to a restaurant meeting about a mile away.
I spent the last week in Shenyang, China, and I rode in taxi cabs every day. Those were some wild rides!

My friends and are trying to start a taxi service! We are looking to lease a car and switch shifts in one leased cars! Is this legal in ca.
