In Missouri, when my baby is born, do I have to give the baby my soon to be ex- husbands last name or can I give it my maiden name which is what I am going back to when the divorce is final?

    I'm not aware of any law that states you have to put down the fathers name for the baby. This was done years ago to avoid embarrassment for an unwed couple.
