Do you believe that ACORN is in part responsible for our economic collapse. I used to be a home builder and sold hundreds of homes to people who could not afford them. ACORN made it possible.

    Uhhh, NO

    contention 1. ACORN doesn't help or loan money for housing, they only make sure that people that have rented houses live in conditions that are up to standard.

    contention 2. if you were building the houses, and your company knew the people couldn't afford them, then it was your fault for selling them the houses.

    contention 3. ACORN has been in existence since 1970, and if they were to make any type of economic impact, they would have done it years ago.

    If you sold hundreds of homes to people who could not afford them perhaps you were in part responsible for the economic collapse. ACORN doesn't give home loans.
