Help answer this question below.

Does anyone agree with me that the U.S. government is too massive? There are hundreds of government agencies and departments! Many of them overlap! This is not what our country was meant to be. I think we need less war and less departments!

    Administration for Children and Families (ACF)
    '' for Native Americans

    '' Developmental Disabilities
    '' Office of the US Courts
    Agency for International Development
    Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Registry
    Agricultural Marketing Service?
    Agricultural Research Service
    Agriculture Department
    Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau? (NOT THE IRS EVEN!)

    AMTRAK!

    17 separate defense agencies!

    IRS

    James Madison Memorial Felowship Foundation
    Japan-United States Friendship Commission? (WWII ended 64 years ago)

    Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies
    Office of Compliance
    Office of Special Counsel
    Office of Thrift Supervision??

    I could go on...there are HUNDREDS!
