I'm not bothered by a couple of spelling mistakes or bad grammar, after all there are people using the site whose first language isn't English.
I get a bit peeved with questions that have so many abbreviations and text speak that they virtually need translation, so I ignore them.

Believe it or not, some people on AB take their questions and answers to heart. some believe every word written in response to their questions.
This is why i attempt to give honest and accurate answers only with subjects i am familiar with.
To some people, AB is their only source of information to ask a personal question. like boys and girls going through puberty. some have no one to ask, but you and i.
I would only hope that no one on AB would intentionally
give false information, just to gain points. the information you give could be deadly to some people here.

I have had a few spelling erros, some grammar problems, as English is my second language to ASL. ( American sign language) I try very hard not to, but it happens. Some people can be polite in telling me while others are just down right RUDE! I KNOW I have a problem, I don't mind help, but there is no reason to be so rude about it. It takes away from the enjoyment and it is embarassing. That is no way to "teach" someone the proper way to write, or speak.
It isn't like they don't KNOW what I am saying, they just want to nitpick when they are rude about it and IMO put themselves up on a higher horse.
I come from the mind frame "we all have to wipe our butts, even those on a high horse."

Yeah sure......let's just all pretend that people that can't write, type, or speak their own language aren't doing anything remotely wrong lol. We teach it to our children for a reason.
