The payments were current and they repossessed it?
That's not legal.
Even if your grandmother is deceased they have no automatic right to the car.
Her estate would determine the fate of the vehicle.
Now if the payments were late they would have a leg to stand on.
I suggest you speak to a lawyer about this.

You're reading My grandmother purchased a car for my sister who was not on the title. When she died, my sister continued for past 11 months continued to pay the car note. Then car loan company still repossed car stating my she did not have contract but accepted payments
