Bush was as much misunderstood as Obama is now, by at least half the country and probably alot more. And so will the next president, and the next, and the next if you ask me. people just crap on whoever is in charge, especially when they have different views than you do. I get so annoyed when yet another person takes a dump on obama, not because they are wrong, how should I know, but simply because it is the same shallow, meaningless, and useless crap you hear from anybody who is simply cranky, but lacks any proper way to express himself.

Americans elected him twice. You can't be misunderstood for two terms. How many politicians have served 8 years as the US president? Maybe not a genius but a very smart and savvy politician.

He was right about the surge when a majority of the American people were strongly against it. Aparently he knew something that we didn't. I give the man credit for standing up for what he believed in and now the Iraqi people can live in peace and harmony!!
