My guess is your Jelous and justifying it to yourself with the too young thing. On the other hand She is too young so its not a bad idea to stop them.
I'd say it's you trying to help him out because you know you messed up and your trying to make it up to him by keeping him from doing something wrong.Like dating an underage girl.which is pretty wrong.

You're reading I know a guy who is 23 & got together w/ a 15 yr old last weekend. He & I were never an item, but close friends. I lied about something & told him. He left. Now, I want to stop them. Am I jealous or just protective b/c I think she's too young?

Yeah see that's where I'm torn. Like I really don't know... I would never have been able to be with him like that and I wasn't really attracted to him like that, but a part of me just feels really protective of him in that manner. I want him to be happy more than anything, because he's normally depressed about his lack of love life...but going after a 15 year old WHO HAS A CHILD OF HER OWN makes me concerned about him. He loves kids and even works in a daycare and is going to college to be a teacher, but if she were older I would be fine with it. She's just too young and I know (since I'm a woman) some of the things she's going to go through as all of us women do growing up and I just feel that she's going to end up breaking his heart. Not because she'll stop loving him, but because she'll not want to settle down so soon, and he does now.

Thanks... and that's a part of who I used to be. The real me. Caring about others more often than putting on a show like I so often do these days. And it's fun, don't get me wrong, I just wish it were more evened out.
