Question

Help answer this question below.

Do you ever start to answer a question on AB but decide not to because there are "too many" answers already? I generally do not answer or comment if there are 50 or more long answers and comment threads, or 75 or more short answers and comment threads.

Yes because I have probably answered them before anyway and the person that asked the question has probably long gone.

Usually I don't answer to Qs that have that many answers. Well, sometimes, if the Q is very interesting. But I also don't answer when the Q is extremly stupid, I juat don't bother then, waste of my time ;p

It depends on the type of question it is, if its a humorous question, then yes i will answer it, if its something i feel strongly about i will answer it.
I have however started on some and quit, just because i felt it was answered fully, by reading some comments.

I usually don't comment on questions that have a long list of answers already. It would be like a needle in a hay stack.

I won't answer if it has more than 3 pages of answers and here's why. Chances are the asker will get bored of reading 10 pages of answers and just "mark all as read". My answer will likely be repeating another person's answer. If it's fun sometimes I will but most of the time I won't.

Yes. Quite often. I don't answer if there are over 25 or 30 usually.

I tend not to because it seems a bit futile to me. Like, just a drop in the bucket.
