If money isn't a problem, you are better off putting the money down on a brand new Corvette. However, that is a good price for a vette, given the year and mileage. As far as it lasting, it just depends on if the previous owner took care of it. If you are buying from a private seller, I would EXPECT maintenance records for it. I would also get a carfax report on it and if you can take it for a test drive, stop by a mechanic and have them look over it and give you their opinion. It may cost a little bit, but worth it if you think the car may have been abused and for your peace of mind. Good luck.
17k sounds like a high price for such a high mileage car.
For that price it should be in excellent condition.
If not, go for 14-15.
Best of luck with insurance.

You're reading Is it worth buying a 2004 corvette with 80,000 thousand miles for 17000 thousand dollars. I am 17 years old and in college. The money is not the problem, do you think its a good deal. And do you think it could last me like 5 to 6 years.
