Whiskers are sensors that animals use to feel their way around in the dark.
Dogs use it to gauge how close they are to another dog's butt in the dark.

They're sensory aids. When I poke the ends of my dog's they flare out like, "Hey! What's that there!"
i thought they were usless but i guess im wrong lol
