In 2000, the US made an agreement with the UN (along with 21 other wealthy countries) to give .7% of national income (that's 70 cents per 100 dollars earned) to help solve world hunger (see link). Should we honor that commitment, and if so, how?

    Ive said it before, but world hunger is a direct cause of over-population. This is how species decrease in number when overpopulated.

    this world is indeed over-populated and it doesnt help with all the heavy eaters living among us who devour more than their fair share of food hourly. with the increase of people and decrease of animals worthy to eating, one day we will have NO food and will all die due to starvation. ironic on how the number one predator will soon be the prey...

    When I make a promise I keep it, and I don't see any reason for the USA to be any different. The country is already one of the most miserly providers of foreign aid when viewed as a per person contribution.
