I have a neutered Male rabbit 11 months old, He won't stop mounting my spayed 5 year old rabbit. When she gets fed up she nips at him and he will stop but he does this all day long. Is this play or dominance?

Continuous mounting is unusual. It doesn't sound like play, more like dominance or incorrectly neutered, too. It happens on occasion, like to one of my cats :-(

Have they actually been bonded or do they just spend time together? Is she very timid that she allows it for awhile?

I think they have bonded, it took a bit and a few car rides but the sleep together and will lay with each other. She is very submissive and can put up with it for a while and often she will do it to him. But when she is grumpy she grunts and nips at him and this goes on for hours. I'm not sure if this is how bunnies play or what... I've had her for 5 years and got him back in August so this is the first time I've had multiple bunnies.

Then I'd just wait it out and see if with age, he doesn't continue to calm down or she might learn to step up more and keep him in his place.
Was he recently neutered or has it been over one month? It sometimes takes 3-4 weeks for the hormones to reduce enough.

he was altered the second week in august.

Then that's plenty of time I would think to lose those hormones.

I would think so too. The musking stopped thankfully, but he still marks everything with his chin and like I said mounts my female at whatever end he can grab (head, rear he's not picky)

Hmmmm, I'm wondering then, if your rabbit didn't have an incomplete neutering, one where not all the testicular tissue is removied, maybe missed something to make your buck so insistent on mounting. It just sounds more than dominance, as a few demonstrations of that, maybe an occasional reminder, and that should be it. I have a cat that wasn't neutered properly and he still mounts both males and females. I don't want to pay for another op, so we put up with it.
