  • It varies. The average is 4 to 6, but it can be anything from 1 to around 8.
  • None..it usually has kittens. :-D
  • G'day Marina, Thank you for your question. The size of a litter varies from 3 to 5 kittens on average. Cats have been known to have as few as one kitten and as many as eight but both outcomes are fairly rare. The first litter will be smaller than subsequent litters. I have attached sources for your reference. Regards Reference Wikipedia Cat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat#Reproduction About Cats http://cats.about.com/cs/pregnancybirth/a/pregnancybirth.htm
  • 3-5, generally, but of course a cat can have more/less than this as well.
  • Every litter I've seen so far has been 4 kittens, no more, no less. While other numbers are possible (usually 3-8), I personally haven't seen it.
  • An average cat has 1 to 8 kittens per litter, and 2 to 3 litters per year. During her productive life, one female cat could have more than 100 kittens. http://www.pawsawhile.netfirms.com/trivia.htm
  • Usually it's 3-6 but it can be less or many more. And most cats can have 203 litters a year
  • Well we had one cat have three and today our other mommy had only one.....weird
  • It depends on what number litter it's having. Sometimes if she's mated with more then one cat, she can have each one of their children. If it's just one cat, the litter is normally just a couple of babies. as the number of the litter gets higher, so does the number of kitties.
