I would say the doctors that prescribed these addictive drugs are very much to blame.If doctors are to be trusted for out health,and are this much ignorant of the consequences of prescribing these lethal drugs then they should not be allowed to practice medicine.In fact they should be serving prison terms for their actions.They were trusted and failed to do their jobs properly.

Michael is ultimately the one who was responsible for his own actions, but I do hold the doctor somewhat responsible as well. As a professional, with all his years of schooling and experience, his focus should have been encouraging Michael to get clean and weaned off of the drugs, instead he enabled him to continue his addiction. Doctors are held to a higher standard of integrity vs most people because they have the power of life and death at their hands. This doctor was willing to push integrity and ethics aside to claim his big ol' fat check.

In all fairness had they not perscribed them he would have gotten them another way. He has the cash and could have gotten them from Mexico or another source.The Drs arent blameless but I feel his death was Jackos own doing.

They act like it. My wife is a nurse and she cant stand half the doctors that come into her floor.All have God complexes and treat underlings like garbage. But they'll kiss the patients behinds because they know who is paying them to buy their nice cars and golf outings.
