I turn off lights,recycle and compost, I have low energy light bulbs but I drive a diesel guzzling automatic SUV, (used for towing horses) so I suppose the jury is still out on that one.+5

I think so, although some might call me a hypocrite for having a car and burning fossil fuels. I don't hold extreme views on environmental issues, but I do love the planet and would like to be a good custodian of my little bit of it.

No I don't.. I mean, I am concerned, I dispair when I see some of these pictures of deforestation/pollution etc and "I do my bit" as they say, but I wouldn't define myself as being a person who is concerned about the environment. Everyone should have their cause, and I think that its good that some are environment focused, others are animal focused, and some are people focused. I am the latter.

Yes. I checked my carbon footprint and I am near the bottom of the range for average Americans. While there is certainly more I could do, I'm certainly doing more than my fair share and I vote for and advocate for reasonable restraints on environmental damage.
How do we expect to get our dishes clean after our government removed phosphates from our dish washing detergent?????
