Help answer this question below.

Help! I cannot record on my DVD player and get the following error message. 'No signal. There is no live picture at the input. Please check connections. Instructions - connect input.' All leads are connected, I can play DVDs and watch TV but not record.

My Memorex DVD player plays sound only. The error message on the TV reads "No signal." I have checked all the cables. The channel and input selection is correct. This DVD player is less than 6 months old. Has it bit the dust?

I cant get a picture on my tv.It is connected to the main freeview box but the screen is blank apart from a message reading no tv input,all cables/leads are connected.

I'm desperately trying to watch Sweeny Todd. My audio/visual cables are correctly hooked up from my DVD player to my TV. When I hit input, the screen is gray and says, " UNUSABLE SIGNAL." I can hear the movie but no picture. What am I doing wrong?
