    No, Eve is a very old word. In Hebrew it's a verb - cha·yah´, "live" or some translate it "breathing one".

    Evil in Hebrew was ra`, variously translated as “bad,” “gloomy,” “ugly,” “evil,” “calamitous,” “malignant,” “ungenerous,” and “envious.” Evil comes from an old Germanic word 'Übel' and the Dutch 'Euvel'.

    no, it's the reverse of live... meaning, living involves facing evil.. like you would when you look in the mirror and see yourself. evil is within us... just look in the mirror and you see it.
