Help answer this question below.

There was talk requiring birth certificates be presented in order to renew your drivers license in Michigan come 2010. People freaked out & said that it was out of line to require. I don't think so unless you're not here legally. What do you think?

    You have to have one when you first get your license anyway, and you already need a few kinds of id, so I don't see what the big deal is.

    I see no problems with this request... I mean didn't they have to produce a birth certificate when they first got their license?
