Most rabbits enjoy more company and are open to sharing their person with someone else. Once they are altered, they usually accept a new friend, especially if it's the opposite sex and also altered. It takes a little time to get them bonded, but most rabbits are okay with it. And it would be company for him when you aren't around.

You're reading My house rabbit is 1 yr old. He is alone but spends lots of time with me. He is neutered and seems happy but territorial with his room. Do you think getting another bunny would be ok? Worried he may not want another bunny around.

Thats what I thought. They could share rooms but have separate cages at night I thought.
