No some of us take liberties with language, like waddya think or howz that, things of that nature. If I can read it, it's perfectly perfect. I hardly ever notice the category.

I admit that I have used misspelling as an opportunity to have a bit of fun. I remember answering a question about angles, when the person asking it obviously meant angels.

It all depends on the subject. If they are complaining or yelling about something or using Text language, then yes they deserve it. If they are just struggling with the language or uneducated, No not at all.

I think it all depends on the category the subject is in. Not many kids will be cutting and pasting answers for their homework in "outside the bag" categories but some will in the more serious ones. Having "crap" posted in some of those categories isn't necessarily about fun but rather a need for accurate information. Regarding grammar and spelling, I'll usually look the other way since it seems it's not a required subject in school anymore ( unless it's text speak) and the question or answer is pretty legible but some of what I've seen in here requires a translation service to decipher.

I don't comment on grammar and spelling although I'll sometimes suggest the Firefox browser as a way to do spelling.
I, however, do need to be able to read and understand the question and/or answer. Text speak I don't do since if I learn another language it will be Spanish.
I don't mention category, etc. unless they put AB for adults material in the regular AB categories. That is a no, no as far as I am concerned.
    Thank you.

We all have our definition and perception of fun. And, that is as it should be.

True, if it's just about here...but there's more to life than answerbag. If you can't spell and don't know how to put a sentence together in the real world...it's not so much fun.
