I would not use a male massage therapist. I don't like being touched skin to skin by another man, other than normal human interaction (e.g. handshake, back slap after a 360 dunk, that kind of thing).

I've never heard of a male masseuse, wouldn't he be a masseur? I think I would prefer a masseuse for the same reason I prefer female hairdressers - they have a gentler touch.

I'd prefer my husband since he's an excellent massage therapist and knows many modalities.
But it really doesn't matter what sex. I've been worked on by both sexes and I don't find it matters if they are well qualified and trained. Some have a gift, some don't. Some are just hard or soft hands, some know exactly what you need just with a touch.

I have only had one male,it was physical therapy not massage,all others have been females,I feel that is a females occupation not a males,at least as far as I am concerned.
