Yeah, but McCain and Palin might still be of some political use to eachother so "fabrications" is a little easier to deny or dismiss in the next election cycle.

That McCain advisors did not like it when Palin did not do exactly as she was told. We know this is true as it was the McCain advisors that were whining about it during the campaign.
