It's possible if it's also red and hot. Some swelling is to be expected but after a couple of weeks it should have gone down by now.
How safe is a tragus piercing? I really want to get it done. How long does it take to heal, and what method should the piercer use?

I got my tragus pierced a week ago,its was fine but yesterday it gotreally swollen and hurts alot but theres no pus is it infected?

can you put tongue rings into a pierced tragus? if not, can you ask your piercer to use a smaller needle so you can? if so, what size?
