Instead of putting the pill in your mouth leave it in the bottle?
I can only assume you want to sleep without drugs.
In order to that you need to address the cause of the insomnia. Is it psychological i.e. causes by Pot Traumatic stress, caused by depression/anxiety, caused by general stress?
Or is it drug/alcohol related - drinking excessively can lead to insomnia, so to is drug use.
Is it physiologically caused as in chronic pain?
What are your behaviors and patterns for living? staying up late and watching TV before bed or while in bed can lead to insomnia (as just one example).
Eating properly and moderate exercise can induce sleep. Thus you may want to change your life style in that area.
There are other drugs that can help a person sleep,if you don't want a drug there are herbal remedies, such as chamomile and catnip tea before bed.
Without knowing you and what you have tried I am really hard pressed as to what you can try.
