  • Daffodiles and tulips are transplanted in the fall. After the foliage dies back in the spring after they've bloomed, dig up the bulbs and shake off the dirt. Store them in a net bag in a cool dry place, and then around the middle of Oct you replant the bulbs. Depth of 6 inches, and about 2 inches apart. I also recommend you use some bulb starter fertilizer from wal-mart, or local nursery.
