By parental rights, do you mean your relationship with your ex, or your kids?
You can not 'give up' Parental rights towards a child legally. There are obviously options for dealing with your ex, but, you have a duty at law to your children to take care of them. You must remember, that at law, the children come first. That is part of being an adult and bringing children into the world. You have a duty, to do the right thing for your kids whether that means being there for them physically or financially, as its not your childrens problem, and they have a right to be taken care of.
Are you and your ex separated/divorced? do you have a child maintenance agreement in place??
If not, you may find it helpful to speak to a lawyer about organising this as it make make it easier for you to see your kids and be there for them whilst restricting the contact that you haveto have with your ex.

You're reading How do I give up my parental rights? I know it seems like a horrible thing but I just can't handle the emotional abuse from my ex anymore. It's just not worth it to me and I'm tired of feeling that I'm living my life waiting for them to say jump.
