They didn't let him in. :)
apparently its not there for you to answer truthfully but if you lie and get found out it makes it easier to deport or arrest said terrorist

He he. I have a friend who was asked by an immigration officer at JFK whether she would accept a job in the States if someone offered it to her and she could do it legally. Being an honest type, she said "well, it would depend on the job." Guess who was on the next plane home...
