Not sure what you mean by 'acting pregnant'. At her age, there really shouldnt' be anything showing or different about most pregnancies. They can hide them well or just look a little fat. If she isn't in obvious pain, then I'd just relax and treat her normally. If she's uncomfortable or in pain, then rush her to a rabbit vet.
more info on this.... it's been about 20 hours, the kit died and we removed it from the nesting box. still no other kits, but she's still acting like she's pregnant. help pls

My rabbit gave birth to kits and now the kits are in a nest of just hay and fur. Would it be safe move them into a box at only 2 days old?

You're reading My florida white doe is having her 2nd litter, her 1st litter of 5 all died, she's 13 months old. it's been about 30 days since she was with the buck (only for 30 mins to mate), and she had only one kit. but her belly still feels full.. what's going on?
Comments
she was still ripping up fur for a day afterwards, and just barely had the rest of the kits. all were still born except for one... (if looked like they got tangled in the placenta and maybe choeked or something??) should i put a heating fan near the cage to keep it warm because there are no other kits to cuddle with it, is that ok ? thx

If it's not too hot for the doe, sounds like a good idea. I often use a heating lamp up high over the nest box so the doe doesn't have to be under it at all in case she doesn't like the heat. But in the winter it sure does help to raise the temperature a little, especially with one or just a few kits.
