How can i figure out if i have a short circuit somewhere on my 1989 Ford F-150?

    if you have an inductive amps probe you can put it around all the wires coming off the positive post of the battery and take a reading.( caution the computers will draw a few milliamps) I would concider anything over 250 milliamps to be a draw. to isolate the draw you should pull fuses one at a time and check the meter for a change. when the draw is gone you have found the circuit the draw is in.
